Power Automate Patient Data Migration

Overview

Consulted and implemented a Power Automate solution for a Liechtenstein enterprise handling a large-scale patient data migration.

Problem

During the import of thousands of patient records into a medical database, a confirmation dialogue appeared for each record — requiring a human to match the import record to the correct patient in the target system.

Solution

• Analyzed the dialogue pattern and target system behavior
• Implemented a Microsoft Power Automate UI flow that handles the matching logic automatically
• Compares patient ID numbers between source and target
• Processes the confirmation without human intervention
